The many demands of our personal and professional lives can occasionally, if not often, exact immeasurable amounts of frustration, disappointment, fear, anger, anxiety, and other emotions that can negatively affect the way we manage our lives daily. The way we handle and address our personal and professional issues usually impacts our mental, physical and spiritual well-being, as well as dictates the nature of our interactions with our families, friends and colleagues.
This program will attempt to provide useful information on dealing with issues that generally arise in the personal and professional space. For example, do you need a mentor and what should you expect from a mentoring relationship? Are you thinking of retirement or transitioning to a new career, and how should you go about it? How do you deal with stressful situations at home or at work, acknowledging that our personal and professional lives are often inextricably intertwined? What does a healthy mind, body and spirit mean to you and the people about whom you care or with whom you interact? How do you go about reimagining yourself? These are just some of the topics that we plan to address (may be subject to change), so bring a healthy appetite (breakfast is served free-of-charge), an open mind, and a voracious curiosity. It's going to be an exciting, informative, and fully interactive program.
