Mentorship

The PPALM Mentorship Program connects mentees with experienced professionals who have achieved personal, professional, and career success. A unique feature of the PPALM Mentorship Program is that its mentors provide realistic, comprehensive, and near real-time assessments of career situations, opportunities, and decision points.

To be most effective, the mentorship relationship requires respect, confidentiality, and compatibility on the part of the mentor and mentee. Each mentoring relationship is unique in terms of duration and style. Therefore, rather than propose one technique for mentoring, PPALM supports a broad range of mentoring relationships.

To participate in the Mentorship Program as a mentor or mentee, you will need to sign in to the PPALM website and fill out the Membership/Mentorship Application. Mentors are currently matched to mentees based on the information provided on the mentee’s application. As we improve our website to become more interactive, mentees will be able to view potential mentors, then select the mentor that will best fit his or her needs. If you wish to become a mentor or a mentee, please click on the button on the right to join PPALM.

• American Corporate Partners (ACP) - ACP is a non-profit organization that intends to assist veterans in their transition to the civilian workforce.  Part of this role includes providing some mentorship fundamentals that may be useful to PPALM mentors and mentees alike.
