WASHINGTON – Pan-Pacific American Leaders and Mentors marked its 10th anniversary on Nov. 11, 2017.
Over the last 10 years, PPALM grew from only several members in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area to several hundred members in seven chapters around the world, including Germany, Colorado, Hawaii, and Afghanistan. In addition to growing membership, PPALM has also begun focusing on health and wellness as a priority topic for members. In June, PPALM launched its interactive series on Leadership & Organizational Health & Wellness, sponsored by AARP. The first session focused specifically on physical and financial wellness, and PPALM will expand on this series in the coming months.
PPALM celebrated this 10-year milestone at its 10th Annual General Membership Meeting here on Oct. 8. Judge Evan Wallach delivered keynote remarks and PPALM recognized many individuals and organizations for their efforts and support of public service and mentoring.
